Html Background Music: Background music as a concept originated in the French and Baroque era as music played for kings in their stately dinners. However, as a contemporary concept, “background music” (sometimes abbreviated as BGM) is mostly used to describe the music in video games, mostly in HTML links (in the computing language, it stands for Hyper Text Markup Language and is the predominant language in creating WebPages). HTML music codes have foreground music options. It also has options where the music is hidden and starts automatically and plays continuously. Adding background music in web pages is extremely fashionable and entertaining, all the more if they happen to be game sites or if they are to be made more creative, like blogs.
Background Music and web sites like Xanga: Blogging as a latest trend has caught up with surfers of the World Wide Web. Xanga is a fast growing blogging site which allows creative features like audio blogging, which was launched in September 29th, 2006. It is a networking community based on blogging and has a variety of other attractive features to choose from, like online journals and diaries and it is free for xanga and the people who join this community. With innovative features like audio blogging, one can add music to the text based blog which acts like a background music to the actual text. Background music in xanga can also be accessed through various music codes available at the website.
Background Music in Myspace: Myspace is a website that offers social networking like xanga and orkut. It offers, among other features, photo blogging, creating groups for surfers across the world. Websites like these have become a part of the popular culture! Music is entertaining, and thus it has become an essential feature in social networking communities these days. That is why Myspace has multimedia features and “musician’s rights”. Music, however also becomes an important feature with websites like these offering games for entertainment, and including features which actually play background music, free for Myspace. You can create a profile and add to myspace community to enjoy all these features.
Background Music Code: Websites like http://www.thesitewizard.com/ actually teach the uninitiated how to add background music to one’s webpage. With background music being easy to add and free for webpages, it is easy to customize it with a variety of music scores being offered and a variety of layouts. http://www.ricocheting.com/ offers what they call the “background music generator”, which allows users to “generate” and create the necessary code to put the background music or sounds into their websites. It ensures easy steps and describes the same for setting the desired background music. Background music has become a part of the popular culture in the surfer’s world, as is video and audio blogging, in an increasing number of social networking communities (like xanga and Myspace). This is definitely another way of offering more choice to the user to customize as per one’s entertainment needs, because customization is the mainstay of blogging and social networking where personal opinion is very subjective.

*If you're fienin' for the new Kanye West CD, "808s & HEARTBREAK," and can't wait until it's released to the world on Monday, MySpace Music is where you need to be.
MySpace is where you can hear the exclusive premiere of Ye's much anticipated CD. Beginning on Friday at 12:01am PT, fans have been able to stream the album in its entirety for free on MySpace Music.
This official premiere comes days before the album hits stores on November 24. You can get in on the action at www.myspace.com/kanyewest.
"808s & HEARTBREAK," West’s fourth album, is set to follow the pace set by his first three #1 releases – 2004’s The College Dropout, 2005’s Late Registration and last year’s Graduation (released 9/11/07).
The first two albums generated a total of six Grammy Awards, including consecutive wins for Best Rap Album of 2004 and 2005, and Best Rap Song of 2004 (“Jesus Walks”) and 2005 (“Diamonds From Sierra Leone”). Graduation debuted at #1 on 956,936 first week sales, the biggest Soundscan debut by any album since Kanye’s own Late Registration two years before – and the biggest debut in Island Def Jam history. Graduation generated three Grammy Awards: Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song (“Good Life”), and Best Rap Solo Performance (“Stronger”).
West is the latest act to debut a CD on MySpace before its official release. Guns 'N Roses, Paul McCartney and Beyonce have all done the same. The Killers will do so on Saturday with their CD, "Day & Age."
It has become a regular practice to offer some kind of live stream of new CDs in the days before their release on one Web site.
